EXCLUSIVE SPRING ARDENE SURPRISE™ BAG SCRATCH CARD CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
(the “Rules”)
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.- CONTEST PERIOD AND SPONSOR. The “Exclusive Spring Ardene Surprise™ Bag Scratch Card Contest” (the “Contest”) is held by Les Placements Arden / Arden Holdings Inc. (the “Sponsor”). The Contest begins on April 17, 2026, at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on the earlier of (i) April 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM ET or (ii) while quantities last (the “Contest Period”).
- ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open only to individuals that are legal residents of Canada who are at least 18 years of age (each a “Participant” and, collectively, the “Participants”).
The following persons cannot participate in the Contest: officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and/or representatives of Sponsor or its affiliates or related companies, advertising agencies, licensees, franchisees, partners, retailers, distributors, and/or any other party related to the Contest, as well as the members of their immediate family (father, mother, sisters, brothers, children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), legal or common-law spouse, and all individuals with whom these individuals are domiciled, whether or not these persons are related to each other.
3. PARTICIPATION.WITH PURCHASE: Beginning on April 17, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. ET, or at the participant store’s opening time, customers who purchase an Exclusive Spring Ardene Surprise™ Bag either online through Sponsor’s official website at ardene.com, through the Sponsor’s official mobile app (Google Play or Apple App Store), or at select Sponsor retail locations across Canada listed in Schedule A (“Participating Stores”) will receive one (1) Contest Scratch Card with their purchase, while supplies last. No limit per Participant.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY: To obtain a FREE Scratch Card, Participants must submit a 300-word email to contest@ardene.com on their interest in the Sponsor. The text submitted must be original (not copied) and must not violate any applicable laws, including applicable intellectual property laws. Each Participant may submit only one original text and may not reuse the same text for additional requests or entries. Limit of one (1) free Scratch Card request per envelope with sufficient postage, while supplies last. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a person submitting a request for a FREE Scratch Card, the “authorized account holder” of the email address used will be deemed the Participant. The authorized account holder is the natural person to whom an email address is assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or any organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the associated domain. Potential winners may be required to provide proof of being the authorized account holder. FREE Scratch Card requests must be received no later than April 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM ET, and are available while supplies last.
Each Scratch Card contains one (1) scratch section (“Scratch”), that when uncovered, reveals a description of a Prize or a “Better luck next time” message printed on the card. To claim your prize, refer to instructions which follow under Section 7, but to be eligible, all prize claims must be redeemed between April 17 2026, at 12:00:01 and May 15 2026 at 11:59:59 PM ET. Proof of purchase may be required.
- SCRATCH CARD. There is a total of approximately twenty thousand two hundred and twenty (20, 220) Scratch Cards produced and in the market during the Contest Period. Scratch Cards will be available for distribution through April 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM ET or store closing or while supplies last, whichever occurs first.
Liability for irregular, illegible, or blank Scratch Cards is limited to replacement with another Scratch Card (not another Ardene Surprise™ Bag), while supplies last. If, due to a production, printing error, or any other type of error, there are more Prize claims than Prizes available, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to award any remaining Prizes through a random drawing from all the Participants during the Contest Period.
Contest Scratch Cards obtained through unauthorized sources, or which are incomplete, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, counterfeited, or irregular in any way, are automatically void. No Scratch Card copies, duplicates, or reproductions of any kind will be eligible for the Contest. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any lost Scratch Cards. Scratch Cards are the property of the Contest Sponsor, and may not be used for any other promotional, commercial, or other purposes without the authorization of the Contest Sponsor.

PRIZE/PRIZES. There is a total of 227 prizes available to be won as part of the Contest. Each Prize consists of one ARDENE digital gift card (each a “Prize” and collectively the “Prizes”). The value of the Prizes are as follows:
- One hundred (100) Sponsor gift cards with a value of ten ($ 10 CAD) dollars Canadian each
- Fifty (50) Sponsor gift cards with a value of fifty ($ 50 CAD) dollars Canadian each
- Fifty (50) Sponsor gift cards with a value of seventy-five ($ 75 CAD) dollars Canadian each
- Twenty (20) Sponsor gift cards with a value of one hundred ($ 100 CAD) dollars Canadian each
- Five (5) Sponsor gift cards with a value of two hundred and fifty ($ 250 CAD) dollars Canadian each
- One (1) Sponsor gift card with a value of five hundred ($ 500 CAD) dollars Canadian
- One (1) Sponsor gift card with a value of one thousand ($ 1000 CAD) dollars Canadian The total retail value of all Prizes is twelve thousand dollars (12 000 CAD).
The Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted for another prize, or exchanged, in whole or in part, for money, unless otherwise agreed to by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize by a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if Sponsor is unable to award a Prize as described. Standard terms and conditions apply to Sponsor’s gift cards. All Prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

ODDS OF WINNING. The approximate overall approximate odds in Canada of being eligible to win are outlined as follows:
- Sponsor gift cards with a value of ten ($ 10 CAD) dollars Canadian each: 495%;
- Sponsor gift cards with a value of fifty ($ 50 CAD) dollars Canadian each: 247%;
- Sponsor gift cards with a value of seventy-five ($ 75 CAD) dollars Canadian each: 247%;
- Sponsor gift cards with a value of one hundred ($ 100 CAD) dollars Canadian each: 099%;
- Sponsor gift cards with a value of two hundred and fifty ($ 250 CAD) dollars Canadian each: 0.025%; and
- Sponsor gift card with a value of five hundred ($ 500 CAD) dollars Canadian: 005%.
- Sponsor gift card with a value of one thousand ($ 1000 CAD) dollars Canadian: 005%.
- PRIZE CLAIM CONDITIONS AND PRIZE DELIVERY. A winning Scratch Card will contain a unique custom code (“Scratch Card Code”). To be declared the winner, a selected Participant must: (i) email the Scratch Card Code on the Scratch Card or the Ardene Surprise™ Pink Ticket code on the Ardene Surprise™ Pink Ticket to contest@ardene.com using the subject line: “Exclusive Spring Ardene Surprise™ Bag Winner!” within the time period described herein; (ii) correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by email within the selection notification; and (iii) otherwise comply with these Rules. In addition, the selected Participant must complete and sign a declaration and release of liability and publicity (except where prohibited by law) (the “Form”), which Sponsor will send by email and which the selected Participant must return duly completed and signed within seven (7) days of receipt thereof. By meeting all these requirements, the selected Participant will be declared a “Winner” of the Contest and Sponsor will send a digital Sponsor Gift Card to the Winner by way of email.
If a selected Participant fails to: (i) correctly answer the skill-testing question, (ii) provide the Form signed by the selected Participant within the prescribed deadline, or (iii) otherwise comply with these Rules, the Prize will be forfeited who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner. Each Prize will be delivered by email at the email address provided by each Winner in the Form.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE. All Participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, as well as its respective parent, affiliates or related companies, advertising agencies, licensees, franchisees, partners, retailers, distributors and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all claims, cause of action, or liability, including, without limitation, any injury, death or damage to or loss of property, resulting from the Contest, including but not limited to, the entry process or participation in the Contest or acceptance, use or misuse of the Prize.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Releasees shall not be liable for any: (1) incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Participants or otherwise; or an error related to the programming of the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, such as in particular, hardware or software errors; faulty computer; any malfunctions, inaccessibility of Sponsor’s website or mobile application in whole or in part for any reason; service interruptions or disconnections of wireless or Internet networks, telephone lines; garbled, jumbled or faulty data transmissions; failure of any online transmissions to be sent or received; (3) unauthorized human intervention at any stage of the Contest entry process or participation; (4) technical, mechanical, networks, typographical, printing, human or other errors or problems which may occur in the administration of the Contest or in the processing of Entries or in any Contest-related materials; or (5) any harm or prejudice suffered by persons, or any material damages resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, implementation or misuse of the Prize or component thereof.
- Sponsor and its authorized agents will collect, use, and disclose the personal information provided by Participants for the purposes of administering the Contest and Prize fulfillment, unless otherwise agreed by Participant. Each Winner consents to Sponsor’s use of Winner’s name, city, voice, image and/or statements related to his/her Prize for publicity purposes in any manner or media including the internet, at any time, in perpetuity, without compensation.

- RIGHT TO MODIFY/SUSPEND/TERMINATE. If, for any reason, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, in whole or in part, without notice or obligation.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if the Contest, or any part thereof, is impaired in any way for any reason or is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, programming errors, or technical failures, which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the operation, administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any entry or Scratch Card and: (a) terminate the Contest, or any portion thereof; (b) modify or suspend the Contest, or any portion thereof, in order to address the impairment and then resume the Contest, or relevant portions thereof, in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Rules; and/or (c) award the Prizes from among the non-suspect, eligible Scratch Card Codes received up to time of such action in accordance with a fair and adequate selection or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.
- GENERAL CONDITIONS. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify from this Contest any person who Sponsor deems or becomes aware has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, Contest Website, or Sponsor’s website(s) , who does not comply with these Rules or acts in a manner that goes against the spirit of the Contest or adversely or with the
intent to disturb, insult, threaten, intimidate or harass any other person. ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, SPONSOR’S WEBSITE(S) (OR A SITE LINKED THERETO) OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH A PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Except where prohibited by law, you agree that (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded (“Disputes”) shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (ii) all Disputes must be resolved before the Courts of Quebec sitting in the City of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and you hereby irrevocably submit and attorn to the original and exclusive jurisdiction of those courts in respect of all Disputes. You agree that any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and under no circumstances will you be permitted to claim or obtain, and YOU HEREBY WAIVE ALL RIGHT TO CLAIM INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES, AND ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED.
All decisions rendered by the Sponsor are final and without appeal. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state, and municipal laws. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision contained herein. If any provision of these Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then the Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein. The paragraph headings are used for reference purposes only and shall not affect the interpretation of the Rules.
